A theory of the Internet

At the Beginning of the Internet, people made personal homepages.

But it was a lot of work, learning HTML to make the pages look good — so blogs were invented.

Yet with blogs, people still had to write long articles, and it took time. So Facebook was invented.

Alas, with Facebook, you still needed to compose long, tedious paragraphs. So Twitter was invented.

Then people realized that with Twitter, you still needed to find original, sharp sentences. So Instagram was invented.

But with Instagram, you still needed to take (or find) pictures…

Surely technology will find something to relieve us of all this stress.

Or is it Netflix?
